About Us
Behavior is communication. We listen.
At BFree Behavioral Solutions, we provide behavioral consult services for adults and children in the developmentally disabled and typically developing populations alike. We use the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to bring meaningful, socially significant change in an organized manner into people’s lives. We believe that behavior is communication and we seek to listen and observe with compassion and sensitivity to potential trauma to what our clients are communicating. We seek to involve our clients and caregivers in the identification of their specific needs and goals; letting them choose what to focus on. This is often done by helping individuals increase desired behaviors and/or decrease problem behaviors on their own or with a trusted caregiver coming alongside for support. Behavioral consult can be done in-person, virtually, or a hybrid of these two methods.

Brandy Freeland, CEO
MA, BCBA
Brandy has viewed the world through a behavioral lens and the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since before she even knew it was an actual science. She joined the field from the opposite direction of most people. She first parented her six children with this behavioral mindset, a mix of biological and adopted alike. They taught her about Autism, OCD, ADHD, Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD), and other mental illnesses to name a few. It wasn’t until her oldest four children were in high school that she decided it was time to put the letters “BCBA” behind her name so that her experience matched her education. Because of her 20+ years of experience in motherhood and many years in the professional field, she brings an ability to see both sides of the behavioral services with compassion, knowledge, and insight. She has a passion for trauma-informed care and seeks to make sure that each person is treated as an individual, not a formula.
Brandy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She received her Masters in Exceptional Student Education Comprehension - Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of West Florida.
Most mornings, she’s focused on homeschooling her youngest daughter and enjoys the relationship building that comes with meeting with her clients and their caregivers in the afternoons. But home is her favorite place to be as she has mindfully created restful rhythms with her people in her off hours. She favors cooking alongside her husband, doing 1000-piece puzzles, getting dirty in her cut flower garden or sitting in front of the fireplace reading a book. An iced Amazing Grace with oat milk from Kuppa Joy isn’t a bad idea either. ;)
